Data Deletion Instructions

IdeaCore BI Dashboard (operated by {LEGAL_ENTITY_NAME}) provides two ways for users to have their personal data deleted: an automatic Meta-initiated flow, and a manual email request.
1. Automatic deletion via Meta
If you interacted with one of our Facebook Pages or Instagram Business accounts through IdeaCore BI Dashboard and now want your data removed from our systems, you can use the built-in Facebook flow:
- Go to your Facebook settings → Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites.
- Find IdeaCore BI Dashboard in the list and click Remove.
- Facebook will automatically notify our data deletion callback endpoint (
POST /api/data-deletion) with a signed request identifying your user ID. - We will anonymize all messages, contact records, and conversation metadata tied to that user ID within 30 days (typically within minutes).
After Facebook sends us the deletion request, you will receive a confirmation code and a status URL. You can check the status of your request at any time at /data-deletion-status/{code}.
2. Manual deletion request
If you messaged us through a channel other than Facebook/Instagram (Email, Telegram, Viber, Webchat), or if you prefer to request deletion directly, send an email to [email protected] with the following information:
- The email address, phone number, or handle you used to contact us.
- The approximate date of your last interaction (optional, helps us locate your data).
- A brief confirmation that you want your data deleted.
We will process manual deletion requests within 30 days and will send you a confirmation email once the anonymization is complete.
3. What gets deleted
When we anonymize your data, the following happens:
- Your messages' content is replaced with
[deleted]. - Attachments metadata is removed.
- Your name, email, phone, avatar, and external profile identifiers are removed from your contact record.
- Conversation previews and subjects containing personal info are cleared.
Note: We preserve aggregated statistics (e.g., total message count per day, SLA metrics) because these do not contain personal data and are required for our internal business analytics. If you need a full record removal instead of anonymization, please state this explicitly in your email.
4. Response timeline
- Meta-initiated requests: processed within minutes, confirmation code issued immediately.
- Manual email requests: acknowledged within 3 business days, completed within 30 days.
